About the Preschool

Lakewood Little Lynx is a preschool program for children who are 3-5 years old. Little Lynx Preschool encourages life-long learning, decision making, and problem solving while motivating each child to reach their full individual potential. At Little Lynx, students gain experiences that focus on the growth of the whole child.

In our program the teacher will spark the child's mind in a specific academic area and then allow each child to explore the academics at his/her own pace.

Some of the academic areas covered in our classroom are practical life skills, social life skills, and kindergarten readiness. Our  preschool program runs September-May and follows the ISD 709 school calendar.

✐ Little Lynx Preschool fosters interactive learning by combining engaging and developmentally appropriate themed lessons that include both indoor and outdoor experiences.

🎒Little Lynx supports the growth and development of each child through gentle care-giving and quality developmental support.

🎨 Little Lynx Preschool is a Parent Aware four-star rated classroom lead by licensed teachers who help guide and facilitate learning through hands-on experiences and play.

📚 The Lakewood Foundation offers donations through a scholarship program that provides money towards higher learning to former Lakewood students who are graduating with high regards in academics and community service.

🍎 Children enrolled in the preschool receive an extensive amount of outdoor experiences daily. Healthy snacks are provided each day along with a lunch meal plan option.
